Why publish bilingual books about urban nature?

Children, students and adults learn languages without learning the vocabulary that promotes ecological awareness. The opportunity to educate people about environmental issues and mindfulness of the surrounding nature is completely lost. Nature, biodiversity and sustainability are not covered in language teaching. When we asked around among our local and expat friends, we found no local bilingual educational resources that familiarise families and visitors with nature and the city. But for us, the nature around us can only truly exist if it can be identified and named.
